Walton Street, Oxford

This project involved the complete renovation and extension of a four-bedroom period property in the heart of Oxford. The client wanted to maximise the available living space while preserving the property's character, with the brief including a single-story rear extension, a two-meter basement extension, and the construction of a bespoke garden gym. Alongside these additions, the property underwent a comprehensive refurbishment, including a full roof replacement, resulting in a modern family home that complements its original period features. 

Our scope of works encompassed a complete strip-out of the existing property, followed by a full electrical rewire and the installation of new plumbing and heating systems throughout. Internally, we constructed new partition walls, fitted a bespoke kitchen, installed three new bathrooms, completed extensive carpentry, and carried out a full program of painting and decorating. Externally, the works included a complete roof replacement, rendering and re-pointing, restoration of the original period windows, construction of the single-story rear extension, a bespoke garden room, and a two-meter outward extension to the basement, delivering a seamless blend of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary living.
